    George Porter
    Men's Development Series Director

    George Porter
    George was born in Dayton, Ohio and raised in Columbus. George believes that part of his purpose and the fulfilling of his destiny, is the giving of his time by volunteering his time an assistant Scout Master with the Boy Scouts, the Ohio HS Sports Association and has been part of the ministry team for his church. George holds a black belt in Martial Arts. His favorite NFL Football team is the Browns and is an avid fan of football in general. George has 4 adult children (2 sons & 2 daughters) and 2 grandsons. His favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13.
    Derrick Lewis
    Youth Mentoring Series Director

    Derrick is a native of Columbus, Ohio who served in the U.S. Air Force. He is a licensed minister holding a Diploma in Evangelism & Missions and an Associate of Applied Science Degree from Valor Christian College. He also holds a B.A. Degree in Church Leadership from Ohio Christian University. He resides with both his lovely wife Carla and daughter Dalasia. Derrick is an avid reader and a fan of basketball and the Ohio State Buckeyes. His favorite scripture is, Ephesians 2:8-9
    Scott Thompson
    Community Outreach Series Director

    Scott is a native of Columbus, Ohio where he and his wife Angela, have grown in the Lord as they have raised 5 children; Nicholas, Wesley, Cheyenne, Kyler, and Scotty Jr.

    Brother Scott is a graduate of Ohio Dominican University and has worked at Discover Card (Discover Financial Services) for over 30 years in a management capacity. He is a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where he serves in the role of a deacon and teaches Sunday School. He is also very active as a mentor to male youth in the community as evidenced by being recognized as the Men of Courage Mentor of the Year (2014) by the Mentoring Center of Central Ohio.

    Scott places a premium value on family and sees his life mission as a servant of God. Brother Scott’s focus is captured in his favorite scripture is Romans 12: 2.
